Lake Buffet in Rice Lake

There's a lot of selection here. In my opinion, the buffet price of 10.50 is completely fair... It is all you can eat after all and that's not something you should be doing everyday lol. Food was FRESH and steamy! Yum

Surprisingly not bad for a rural town Chinese Buffet. Lots of decently made options to choose from. Desserts are the same kind of no frills selections you see at most of these kinds of places but, meh!

This is probably one of my favorite Chinese buffets that I have been to. The staff have always been kind as well as helpful and almost always they are quick to remove plates as well as add to the buffet when the food gets low. Although I am overall satisfied with this location I wish they would have more potato options. I know they have served potatoes in the past however the last time I went (a few days ago) they did not have any potatoes which was disappointing since I love their potatoes. The food is usually very delicious and in many ways it is a lot better than the Royal Buffet in New Richmond. Although I understand buffets can be expensive, this buffet is on the pricey side but they do have a lot of options to choose from as well as soft serve ice cream! Give this place a try if you haven’t and I know I will be returning!

I've been to this place many times and always enjoyed the delicious food there. I highly recommend Lake Buffet to those who love Chinese food. Try the Eggrolls, they're the best!

They are always busy, a locals favorite. Food is fresh, hot and always tasty. Best times to go are during the dinner and supper rush for the freshest food.

I only eat here because my kids don't know any better and won't listen to me. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes its like it has been sitting for hours. And I seen their kitchen. Very dirty. You want better food? Try Tokyo or Happy Wok in Barron.

Excellent Chinese buffet. Food was fresh and hot! I've eaten at many buffets and this one is above average. Will definately stop again.

Just like any Chinese buffet if you get there at the right time everything is fresh. very respectable selection and reasonable prices especially at lunch. Staff are always friendly and fast. They also have a small selection of bottled beer which is very nice

The food and selection is great. They have some awesome Chinese desserts and I wish I had the recipe for some of them! They also have an ice cream machine. Broad variety of foods to choose from including sea food. The staff isn't the friendliest and doesn't routinely come around to check on you... Might be a good thing depending on who you ask and whether or not you want to be bothered. You might have to flag down the wait staff for a drink refill.

Do not go!! The past 3 times we've went there is 1 worker who is terrible! I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not tip at a BUFFET. The worker (who wasn't even the one who seated us) gave us the check and proceeded to say 'can I have a tip, I only work for tips', then stood there. After we said we didn't have small bills (so she would leave) she still wouldn't leave! She instead said that she would take large bills and let us give her whatever change we got back! After heavily implying a strong no she would not leave. Worst experience ever. This is the third time as well. Do not go here if you are expecting a nice time!

The don’t even deserve one star, they were all trashy servers and the food was at least 2 days old and reheated. I asked for a discount, AND THEY CHARGED ME MORE! Would never eat again

Fresh clams and great place to dine with family and friends. Happy New Year dinner we had.

I don't eat enough at one time to make buffet pricing worth it to me. BUT, you can order take out of the menu. Either by weight or per item. Very reasonably priced

The selection is good: there's 3 rows of food including a salad bar, many entrees, and desserts. I think they could use more vegetable options though. The food itself is only mediocre. A lot seems like pre-packaged food that was just heated up not homemade. Luckily the price is reasonable at $11 for adults at dinner. Also, the service is quick and the server was friendly.

Normally have great experience. Lately with having them serve us . Not pleased at all. Most of the time. The English barely under standed. Communication is lacking.

They have quite the spread, plenty to choose from and it always clean. I would say it's a pretty good place for Chinese food considering you are in a small town in northern Wisconsin.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. The food was cold and when you tell the help they did nothing about it. This will be the last time I eat there. Very disappointed.

Server is rude as hell but otherwise decent food and for your information a kids is price is up to the age of 9.10 and older is adult stupid I know

Went at 7pm on a Friday and the food tasted old. Some items were not edible. Some items were! Oh, and it was so damp that all the windows had water running down them (on the inside)... Reminded me that the Happy Wok in Barron is where we go for Chinese. 😣

Food was pretty much okay. Some things you should steer clear from, but most of it was alright. It's a pretty cheap option for all you can eat. I think it came out to around 12 dollars a person for 2 adults. The service was just ok. All in all it's a cheap Chinese buffet. You get what you expect.

Best food in town. The only thing that stops me from giving them a 5 star, is the fact that they bring you the receipt right in the middle while we're eating. I honestly hate that.
